Unit 16 showed me the differences between reported and direct speech and how the structure of a sentence changes as you ( report ) something that you have heard and also how the tenses come into play. This unit made me realize that there are much more intricate details going into a normal sentence and that we can improve our speech and grammar by simply concentrating on what we are saying and how it sounds. The conditionals also helped me in recognizing how the structure of a sentence falls into place depending on the tenses that the sentence is used in.
