This unit reviews methods the teacher might use to facilitate learning and gives examples of various seating arrangements and the advantages/disadvantages of each. There are also helpful suggestions on how to build rapport with the students and thus be able to manage discipline in the classroom. Many of the strategies needed for teaching are common sense but this unit was helpful in spelling out some of the ways a teacher can manage the classroom setting to enable and enhance the best learning situation possible for the students.
