I found this to be a very informative and interesting learning unit. In my teaching studies as well as all in all; my :Continued Professional Development" workshops, I have never been exposed to the ESA (Engage, Study, Activate) approach. It really makes a lot of sense to me. It is an easy way of remembering lesson structure. I need to begin with the "Engage" phase, then onto the "Study" phase and finally action being the "Activate" phase. This approach can be applied in all learning areas. It makes so much sense to me! In two weeks when I am back in my classroom, I am going to consciously apply this approach to my Accounting lessons and see how my learners respond.
