I found the unit interesting. I noted that some aspects of the various methods and techniques are ones we naturally form during the process of academic learning. This I think is probably owing to the fact that these theories were largely formed through observation of learning behaviour. I observed I practice the following aspects of the theories discussed in my academic study: I use music in conjunction with academic learning and study to facilitate learning as the Suggestopedia theory suggests. Drilling i find is helpful in reinforcing and retaining information. I use aspects of the total physical response method by matching various concepts and words to physical gestures as a way of briefly acting them out. I appreciated that liked that the was relatable.
