The unit taught me how I should arrange and manage a class. Arrangement of how students are seated and their atmospheres, such as the more tight-knit horseshoe desk arrangement, compared to the more traditional and lecture focused rows arrangement and so on. Management in how I build rapport and conduct myself relative to the time of the lesson, such as standing when I need attention to be on myself and using gestures to make directions/explanations more comprehensive as well as the language I should be using and sitting when I wish need the students to work/read by themselves. The lesson also taught about how work should be arranged (in terms of grouping) and the consequences of the different types.
