the most striking idea for me in this lesson is the effective way of delivering the engage, study and activate stage of learning. Many ways are given on how to facilitate the engage stage where in the teacher should elicit existing information to students. This stage could also be an overview of the current level of students. This stage could also motivate the students in learning the main objective /topic of the lesson. It energizes them to what could be the lesson of the day. as for the study stage, i have learned that correction is vital so they may be guided or get used to the correct way of using English. We should be careful on how to give corrections. Too much correction may kill motivation but less correction may lead to wrong information. for the activate stage, it is important that the student are able to use the information (learning) into their daily lives. during this stage careful monitoring is important and corrections are done after the performance.
