There are four types of present tenses. In unit four it explains when and how each tense is used when either talking about the past , present or future.It helped me to understand how each tense either it being simple or continuous changes either the verb or auxiliary to form a structured sentence. It also helped me to understand each tense has a certain use, for example present simple tense talks about things in general and routines whereas present perfect is an action continuing up until the present point in time.
