In unit 1 I discovered the objectives of this course including: creating a teaching syllabus, becoming aware of professional development opportunities, and becoming aware of how to find and create lesson plan materials. Also, this unit determined the age range of a young learner ages 5-13 years old. In addition I learned that there are six units in this course and a final essay summative task.
