It was useful to get an understanding of how to seat and arrange/group the students in the classroom to maximise student learning and talk time. I find the horseshoe arrangement would be one I would use depending on class size as I like the idea of a more intimate and laid back class style. I also learnt the importance of pair work and group work for maximising student talk time. There were also good ideas on reducing teacher talk time by carefully choosing your language for explaining and instructing and using gestures and pictures. Lastly and most importantly the idea of "keeping it simple".
