This unit has introduced me to authentic and non authentic materials, the pro's and cons that come with each and hoe they differ. It has also showed me how to create and use a lesson plan, as well as highlighting its importance. Furthermore it has informed me on the various sources available to teachers to use in teaching. Text books are useful but comes with their own issues, while internet sources are easily accessed and but are not be considered suitable due to cultural reasons. This unit has also given me an introduction to classroom management and how to avoid disciplinary issues in the class room as well as deal with them appropriately.
