When dealing with authentic and non-authentic materials you must keep somethings in mind for example, authentic materials most likely have been tested previously and the non-authentic material you have to me more cautious of what the class needs and how compatible it is with their culture. You want to avoid offending anyone. Lesson planning is very important and helpful. They help you stay organized and efficient in your lessons. They also serve as a document that you can keep to reference back to when analyzing what the class had gone over. Course books are useful but shouldn't be relied on completely for they can become predictable and boring for the students. The teacher should respect the other students to gain respect from them. having said mutual respect between each other will prevent some problems in the classroom. the teachers voice and gestures along with eye contact are important tools that can help the teacher if used correctly.
