when teaching a language teachers have two types of material at their disposal.the first are non authentic materials which are adapted to the course syllabus and level and usually contain worksheets, exercieses from the coursebooks, well-thought of listenings and readings with multiple choice or open clozes. non authentic materials are those from real life envrinoment and include original recordings and texts in the language being studied.it is oreferable to maintain a solid balance between the usage of both these types of materials as their correct balance can bring about faster learning. the golden rule is never to fully rely on a coursebook.
