There are two types of materials we can use in the classroom which are authentic and non-authentic materials. Authentic materials are those materials that have been produced for a real purpose and not for the classroom. Non-Authentic materials are those materials that have been produced by an educational company or individual teachers for the specific purpose of being a teaching aid. It's necessary to make a lesson plan for each class. And the lesson plan should include class level, time, room, teaching aids, the number of students, learner objectives, personal aims, anticipated problems for students and solutions. Besides book resources, we also can search for information online but should be careful with the contents online. It's not easy to manage a class but we could try to let students speak actively when directed to do so and listen when appropriate.
