Unit four is titled "Materials" and does indeed focus on different types of teaching aids, authentic and non-authentic, their appropriate selection and/or creation, and their appropriate usage in the classroom. When turning to the inclusion of materials in one's lesson planning, however, the unit takes the opportunity to address the value and skill of lesson planning in and of itself, providing both a detailed example and blank form for later use. Then comes an extensive examination of book resource materials and the advantages, disadvantages and limitations of using course book sets, followed by a discussion on appropriate internet use. Before concluding with a listing of useful internet websites, the unit interjects a very useful section on classroom management. The unit overall, in short, includes a wider range of valuable information than might be assumed at the outset from its title.
