This unit went over the different materials a teacher can use in the classroom. First the distinction between authentic and non-authentic was explained and how creating your own materials can be effective teaching tools. Then,lesson planning was discussed followed by types of book resources. The most important part of the unit for me was the classroom management methods. I don't much experience dealing with discipline issue, so it was informative to learn some strategies.
