I learnt many points in this unit. I learnt how songs and chants are used for younger learners and how movement how TPR methodology is useful and should be considered when forming a lesson. I learnt how young learners need lots of activities to keep them focused on the lesson. I learnt how the age of the student should be considered when developing a lesson plan. The older students can focus longer and hence be able to have longer and more sophisticated study phase time. I learnt how an activity can involve the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Using the four literary skills in combination with using TPR and other senses enhances learning according to some theories.
