This was a bit easier than expected. I learnt that there are many different tenses rather than just the present and the past. I do feel having these different tenses is unnecessary simply for the fact that I believe if you know the difference between past and present tenses you are sorted. In the same breath I will say that knowing the different tenses help to know what grammar to use where.
