Past tense is commonly used in our daily communication. It is not difficult but sometimes can be a little bit confusing to some beginner or elementary level students whose past tense awareness has not been fully formed and activated. What I learned from today's lesson is not only the structures of past simple, past perfect and past perfect continuous, but also the teaching ideas that help students to fully understand the confusing points and gain the self-correction awareness of common mistakes in the activate stage.
