This chapter further helped to strengthen my verb tense understanding. Understanding the rules behind past tense verbs and their usage will help me better explain to students why the rules are the way they are as well as help them when they have issues with conjugation. Understanding rules for past tense sentence structure can be difficult to understand for one learning a new language but now that i am equipped with these skills i will be better able to help my students advance their learning.
