in this unit, we studied the past tense. it is a common English tense in daily use of English. it has past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous. past tense is often used in telling stories and talking in the past. in the activate stage of teaching, we could use detective game method to introduce students of the past tense. then students can practice on telling stories by using past tense.
