This unit gave me a clearer understanding of when to use the past tenses and how to teach them to others. In particular, the activity suggestions were helpful; they gave me ideas on how to create situations where students would easily be able to use sentences that utilize the different past tenses. I will definitely use the idea of having students “play detective” in order to use the past continuous form!
