This unit was all about using the past tenses in a correct manner. Basically, the past tenses are grammatical tenses that are used to describe an action or situation done in past time. From this unit, my concepts about the past tenses cleared up. I learnt that the simple past tense shows that you are talking about something that has already happened. Unlike the past continuous tense, which is used to talk about past events that happened over a period of time and that the simple past tense emphasizes that the action is finished.
