I have learnt from this unit that in English there are four present tenses: simple present, present continious, present perfect, present perfect continious. These four tenses have different kind of uses and we looked at the form and usages of each tense in this unit. The purpose is to understand the differencies between these tenses and minimize the mistakes/errors done by the students. Thats why a good teacher is able to guees what kind of mistakes a student makes in general ( about the grammatical form of each tense) , and takes precaution before the lesson.
