This unit focused on the four present tenses; present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. For each tense I learned about the form (affirmative, negative and question), common usages, typical errors made by students and ideas for activities to use in my lessons. This unit addressed many of the common problems that learners have when using present tenses. What I found most useful about this unit was how it got me to think of ways to better explain to my students how and why they have made an error when using present tense form.
