The information provided for discipline and student rapport was very similar to the information I received in a classroom management course. I think it is especially important to maintain simple and concise language when teaching a language as the students are constantly using you as a resource for learning. It is also important to note that something my work well for one class, such as pair work, while the same activity may work better as a whole class for a different set of students. Knowing when and how to customize the activities can be crucial to optimize the learning of individuals groups of students.
