In this unit I learned more about the four different features of the past tense: past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. Even though the features are nearly exact to the present tense features, it was helpful to see in what ways they differ as a result of communicating past actions. Additionally, having the form for the different sentence structures such as affirmative, negative, and question was helpful in establishing a pattern to remember for each feature.
