I learned that using the right and proper past tenses is important in teaching the english language. Just like all other languages' grammar, past tense is an action phrase/word in a sentence that has connection from the past, however a past tense is not a mere past verb. Unit 6 taught me about the 4 past tenses that will serve as a guide for me in teaching english language to my future students. The past tenses are the past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous. Each of the past tenses has its own form and usage.
