This was a tough unit. It's easy to determine a past tense (simple, continuous, perfect continuous) by looking at it. But, it's much harder to explain why it is that way and how it is used. I will continue to study the tenses in order to better explain the uses to my students. The examples of Activation ideas are especially useful.
