Unit 6 was about the four Past Tenses and their uses. We learned that many of the same rules of usage that applied to the Present tenses were applicable to the Past and easily defined by the conjugated verb forms of "to be", "have", and "have been" with the irregular verb forms remaining unfortunately as mysterious as before. We also broke down the exact meanings of action order as defined by "was/were" compared to "had/had been". Personally, this was the most interesting part of the lesson because I'd never evaluated how I was stating the progression and duration of events through that simple usage.
