Unit 7 Gives an overview of a teaching approach to a new language teaching within ESA technique. It touches such aspects of language teaching as teaching new vocabulary (Selecting words for it, essential knowledge of vocabulary item and techniques of vocabulary teaching) and what methods can be used for each of any ESA stages. Also, it gives us an example of the lesson with “house and furniture” that helps us to see how actually we can apply our methods and techniques in real life. After teaching vocabulary lesson unit seven gives us an exhaustive explanation on how to teach grammar and structures of a new language, what methods to use and what key point we have to keep in mind. It also goes through the stages of the ESA approach and what techniques might be used, also it gives two types of lessons - boomerang and patchwork.
