This lesson was about teaching a new language. When teaching a new language you must remember to break down whatever aspect you are teaching into small and easy to grasp pieces. Vocabulary, for example, should be taught in a way that lets students know the meaning, usage, and spelling. To accomplish this I might start the class by showing a picture of my own home and talking about the names of each item shown. Then I could have the students make basic sentences about their own home in gap-fill exercises "In my living room there is ____". Lastly, I could have an open and guided class discussion on what each student has in their home.
