Tenses seem like the most difficult part of English grammar. I'm sure I could correct most any sentence I came across, but I wouldn't necessarily know how to describe what was wrong. In the past I've tried to describe "have" auxiliary verbs to non-native speakers and it was very difficult. I think I remembered some of the things I tried but, then of course there's irregular verbs and other things. This seems quite difficult.
