This unit reflects on the different types of Present tenses and their usage . In this unit there is a clear distinction on the use of Present Simple ( e.g. for routines , facts etc ) , present continuous ( ongoing actions , developing situations ) , present perfect ( actions that started in the past at an unfinished time , actions with present results ) and present perfect continuous ( to describe an incomplete and ongoing activity ) . This unit was very helpful in suggesting the different activities for different kinds of present tenses as well .
