This unit deals with the Tense System which is an area of the English language which seems to cause students and even some teachers a lot of difficulty. It is most practical for the EFL teacher to consider that there are three different times (tenses) in English: past, present and future. We learned that each of these three tenses has four aspects; simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous. Twelve in total. In this unit we learned about this system and how to recognize the structures when we see them.
