I had not considered the present perfect continuous tense as a separate tense prior to this. It has seldom come up as a matter of discussion, so I hadn't worried too much about it. That is going to change. As a native speaker, I am usually oblivious to what tense I am using at any given time, but I need to pay closer attention to that to avoid confusing my students.
