This unit focused on the present tense in different sentence structures. It was helpful to look at the different breakdowns of the present tense. As a native English speaker, creating sentences using present simple, present continuous, and so on comes natural. Being able to look at the breakdown of the affirmative, negative and question in each of the present forms was enlightening. Looking at the typical errors and mistakes is useful to understand why a student would make those mistakes when learning. The worksheet at the end had examples of errors-what was the mistake, why was it made, and how would you correct it-was very useful to start thinking in those terms for classroom application.
