In this unit I learned more about class management and the variety of aspects that are included within that topic such as teacher talk time, classroom arrangement, and addressing behavioral problems. As someone who has not had a lot of experience teaching, this unit was very helpful in developing my understanding of what makes a quality teacher that truly aids the students in their endeavors of language learning. The two sections of this unit that were most insightful for me were "establishing rapport" and "maintaining discipline" because they demonstrated to me what separates poor teachers from valuable ones, such as the importance of caring for the students and always aiming to come from a place of understanding.
