This unit listed factors and strategies related to managing a classroom. It addressed multiple factors such as seating arrangements and groups, types of activities, use of gestures, eye contact etc and how they come together to affects behavior in the classroom. I come from a psychological background, having previously worked as a psychologist (provisional), so the sections regarding rapport and mutual respect between teacher and student particularly spoke to me. The quality of the relationship between individuals (whether practitioner and client or teacher and students) will always affect the end outcome.
