I believe that this unit provided a lot of important information in regards to the different approaches that must be taken when teaching a class. It seems there is a clear balance that must be found between taking control of a classroom and creating activities for the students to progress on their own accord, with encouragement and help provided but not so much that the teacher ends up spoon feeding the student. The importance of charisma was also a highlight for me as a student is far more likely to be engaged with a charismatic teacher than one who is monotone and without enthusiasm.
