This course centered around the topics of teachers and learners. It listed a number of essential qualities that make good teachers, and explained the multiple roles teachers take on within the classroom. I then learned of the different characteristics of good learners, as well as a multitude of things to consider when teaching such as a students previous learning experience, their motivation, and their current language level. This unit really solidified the idea of centering the teaching around the student as opposed to the teacher, and fostering the students' learning.
