This unit deals with the various types of teachers and teaching styles. (Characteristic) Such as, what’s considered a good teacher and how to be a good teacher for example, being positive, encouraging, kind, patient and supportive as well as having a rapport with the students. What kind of teacher are you for example a model or facilitator? The unit reflects on what is considered a good learner and how a teacher can foster and enhance their students learning through their strengths, needs and interests.. The unit also discusses the different level of the students language and skills, such as a beginner level which is zero to basic. Elementary level can communicate basic topics and form simple sentences. The unit delves into the differences and reasons why there is such a discrepancy in learning and difficulties between young learners and adults.
