Unit 1 focused on what makes a good teacher and what makes a good student. It also talks about the different roles of a teacher. The different roles of a teacher is something I learned because a teacher cannot just have one role, such as being the manager or controller. In a lesson, being a manager/controller is necessary but a teacher must be fliexble, being able to have roles as a prompter, assessor, organizer, participant, tutor, resource/facilitator, model and observer/monitor.
