This unit has taught me some of the qualities of what makes a good teacher, some of which are basic but it was also interesting to go into the various roles in the classroom a good teacher will possess in order to run a class where the students will pay attention and want to learn by how you treat them ie. Prompting them for answers without actually giving it to them, Modeling the language so they have a better understanding of pronunciation etc also the need to monitor students at all there different levels and be unbiased, I personally found this segment very helpful. Also what a good learner will possess and if they don't have some of the attributes to find ways to encourage them to be a better learner. And lastly the ranking if you will of the various stages of learning the English language or any other L2, this can help assess students and there various stages of learning and how to further there learning in the future.
