This unit discusses the major roles of both teachers and learners in the classroom. I have found myself in all roles discussed as a substitute teacher, however, I had previously not been able to put a name to each. I now feel more confident in switching between those roles with having a more solid definition of each. A good rapport/relationship with students is also one of the most important things for keeping students motivated, because if there is a mutual respect, redirection and willingness to focus is significantly more attainable.
