In this course I learned that a good teacher is one that encompasses several different styles of instructing and can access which is best for the each situation. In addition to this I also learned about different levels of fluency in students as well as the benefits of understanding how to motivate students. Different students require different types of motivation, this can range from interest in languages to travel and business opportunities. As an example; older students, while generally more eager to learn can be shyer in a class discussion. Younger students while less nervous in class may have less desire to learn the subject, so they might benifit from engaging activities.
