This unit one section has taught me that, to be a good teacher you much be hands-on in the right moment and learn to let the students learn on their own in the next moment. In order to be a good teacher, I must recognize the needs of my students and try to adjust to the needs of my classroom. I have also learned that there are differences between adult learners and younger learners, and I should recognize the differences between the needs of each age group. In addition to the differences in age there are differences in the level in which a student learns as well. The language level, in my option, is very important because it sets the pace at which the student learns, thus setting the pace for the teacher to teach. What I am taking away from this unit is: the way in which you teach a student varies and that the teacher must also recognize these differences and then adjust to them.
