In this unit 1 I have learnt the different roles and quality of a teacher. If a teacher stands in front of the class than he is a manager, if he is organizing activities, giving instructions, or providing feedback than he is an organizer, if a teacher gets involved in the class to even up the numbers or bring some more life into the class than he is a participant, if the teacher is showing them the proper way to use grammar, vocabulary, or pronounce the words correctly then he is a model. I have also learned how to classify the students by their different english level, if a student has no basic knowledge that he is a beginner, if a student can discuss many topics but still makes errors with the grammar and pronounciation than he is a pre intermediate level. I have also learned the different motivation, experience and behavior between young learners and adults. Most young learners aren't their by choice but can become motivated depending on the teacher and the tecniques they use to teach the different age group. Where as in adult learners they're main motivation is because of the economical benefits they will obtain from learning English.
