In Unit 1 I have learned qualities of a good teacher and his/her roles in the class and different characteristics of learners. Every class a teacher has all or some of the roles, depending on the activity: if the teacher stands in front of the class explaining, he would be a Manager; if the teacher organizes an activity and also takes part in it - he/she is an Organizer and a Participant, etc. All the learners can be divided into Adults and Young Learners. YLs can be further classified into three categories: 2-7, 8-13 and 14-18 years old. All these groups have different language levels of depending or their vocabulary and grammar knowledge, fluency and accuracy , motivation, behavior, language awareness, their learning and life experience, etc.
