The overview of language comprehension at each stage is very useful especially the comparison to other models such as the Common European Framework, and allows for a fair and balanced assessment of a students ability. This combined with the requirements for a good student and teacher help form the minimum understanding of Teaching English as Foreign Language. I particularly found the overview of Teaching Roles, to be useful, as it helps form the areas a potential teacher needs to work on personally to be am effective teacher, especially if the new teacher has limited experience working within these roles in a previous environment.
