This unit gives the teacher insight into the students subjective experience, and what techniques a teacher can use to best work different kinds of students. Students, metaphorically speaking come in many shapes, sizes and flavors. Age, cultural influences, personalities, motivation levels etc, all play are part in what a class may be like, and what teaching approach you should use in a given moment. There is no 'one size fits all' teaching method. Teachers need to mix it up using differing approaches in differing situations. Furthermore a teacher must have strong personality traits such as kindness, patience, and good organizational skills.
